UIW hosted the 9th Annual Red Dress Fashion Show and Health Fair on February 14th in Marian Hall Ballroom, to help bring awareness on heart health conditions in women today. Entertainment Reporter, Ysenia Carrizales, attended the event and experienced the fierce fashion and healthy treats.
On February 1, 2012 the student center hosted a pool tournament.With two games going on at once for the regular rounds and semi-finals, it came down to the final game. Ralph Chaplin claimed the crown at the end of the tournament.

It’s that time of year again! The Spirit Team and University put together a great neon pep rally to kickoff the semester for all upcoming spring sports! The rally also included comedian Chris Porter to entertain the students as the ending show. Watch as reporter Sidne Auvert covers more details on the story.
Starting this semester, UIW offers a movie night once a month for students to enjoy at Marian Hall. Reporter Candice Avila covers the event that premiered the movie “Grown Ups” and enjoyed delicious snacks that were provided. Paul Ayala, Director of University Events and Student Organizations, explains the approach of the new event.
